Instead of just splitting the file into two parts, why don't you use HJsplit to make the parts so that people can combine them using that and watch it as a whole.

@ splitting: There are are myriad of free programs out there created just to join/split avi files. I do not see the point in using HJsplit when it is simpler for you all just to find a program that will join avi files. (I recommend AviDemux or for those already familiar with the interface, VirtualDubMod).

thankyou for subbing rolling love!! :D you guys are pretty fast.. and i notice you update pretty frequently.. i like that.. :D keep up the good work.. just one comment tho... the files you release for download are soo large!! 700mb for each episode.. it forces me to download off crunchyroll.. because i cant afford to use so much download space for one episode.. i prefer video sizes to be around 200-300mb.. but i guess its up to you guys..
Yeah, sorry about that. We've had a few requests about that already. We'll try to slowly reduce the file size as each episode goes by. We're still trying to figure things out and are afraid that the quality might not be as good if reduced. But thanks for staying up to date and watching! Thanks for the suggestion.

Just a little advice, you should check the fansub map to see whos doing what. If someone were to be doing the same drama that I was, I'd be annoyed. Drama fansubbing shouldn't be competitive, unlike anime fansubbing.

Our original purpose was to provide subs for the CrunchyRoll community, but we felt we should share the work we were so proud of with as many people as possible. You're right fansubbing should not be competitive, so how many viewers either team gets is not important, only the fact that quality subs given at a decent speed is. If those are the only important factors, then the number of teams doing any particular series isn't important.

To me, it really did seem like a competition. DoReMii was(and I don't mean this offensively) abnormally fast with this series. I think you guys did a good job on your subs, good quality. Throughout the whole series I felt tension between you and DRM which was awkward considering dramas fansubs.

@anon: Whether or not it seemed like a competition to others, no one at 3045 considered it to be so. We subbed this drama at a pace that was normal for us. We have a very large staff and aside from a few mvs, this drama was the only thing we were working on allowing for relatively quick releases.
